Yes, INKIT tattoos are made using plant-based Genipa ink, known for creating a realistic semi-permanent tattoo effect on the skin.

Genipa has been traditionally used for body art by Indigenous communities in the Amazon for many years, and today it is used in semi-permanent tattoo products because of the way it naturally develops on the skin.

Our tattoos are designed for external skin use and are made to meet cosmetic product safety standards.

As with any product applied to the skin, there is a small chance of irritation or an allergic reaction, especially if you have sensitive skin or allergies. For this reason, we recommend doing a small patch test before full application.

Do not apply INKIT tattoos to broken, irritated, sunburnt, freshly shaved, or sensitive skin. If you experience discomfort, irritation, or a reaction after using our tattoos, stop using the product and seek medical advice.

Avoid applying INKIT tattoos to the face, neck, intimate areas, or any sensitive, irritated, damaged, broken, sunburnt, or freshly shaved skin.

Do not apply a tattoo to the same area more than twice before the previous tattoo has fully faded, as repeated use in the same place may increase the chance of skin irritation or sensitivity.

This product contains ingredients you may not have used on your skin before. As with any new product applied to the skin, there is a small risk of irritation or an allergic reaction.

Do not use this product if you have previously experienced skin irritation or a reaction from semi-permanent tattoos or similar skin-applied products.
